Episode 42 - Mark Bays of Oklahoma Forestry Services on re-purposing lost trees, Cody on the seasonality of the farmers market, and Jamie on passion fruit and pawpaws

Mark Bays, Urban Forester from Oklahoma Forestry Services, talks with us about a new program to get local sawmills involved when local trees are lost due to wind and ice.  Homeowners, businesses and local cities can work with the sawmills to process the trees into usable wood instead of sending them to the landfills.  Great program, check it out at the Oklahoma Forestry website!

In our farmers market and garden roundtable, Cody shares some insight into the seasonality of the farmers market, and Jamie shares info and fruit from the passion vine and pawpaw.

Thanks for listening!
